NUTRITION AND HEALTH Are indispensable in any health nutrition programme. Our food is not as it use to be because the soil we grow our food on has become deficient in so many vital nutrients. Fifty years ago spinach contained approx 158 mgs of iron to every 100 grammes of spinach. These days the average iron content is below one mg for the equivalent amount of spinach. Comparable statistics are found everywhere! The inevitable result of this scarcity of minerals means that we are nutritionally deficient unless we supplement our diet with minerals. NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW THIS! Fortunately we do and that is why we recommend supplementing the diets of patients who come here. The QUALITY of our food is also an issue. Buy 'organic' whenever possible and if you have space to grow a few vegetables yourself, then do it! The exercise and fresh air also have benefits which can complement hours of work on a computer or factory or other debilitating environments. Nothing short of a revolution in lifestyle may be necessary for some people to address their health problems. We dont pull punches. If you need to know , we will tell you and that includes coming off denatured junk food, cigarettes and any other potentially harmful substance.
